Evan Rachel Wood is confident by her side on the Marilyn Manson lawsuit

Evan Rachel Wood is confident by her side on the Marilyn Manson lawsuit.

Marilyn Manson is no stranger to controversy, and this is no exception. He filed a lawsuit to save his reputation, but it was not replied to.

In February 2021, Marilyn Manson filed a lawsuit against Evan Rachel Wood for her charges against him. During an interview with Good Morning America, Wood addressed Manson’s charges.

While discussing her alleged experiences, Wood was asked about the lawsuit. “I stand by what I’ve stated about the abuse claims,” he responded in response to that inquiry.

“I don’t believe I am legally authorized to comment on any of the charges,” the 34-year-old actress responded when asked if she could show the allegations in the lawsuit against her are false. “But I am very certain that I have the truth on my side.”

Wood and her romantic companion, Illma Gore, allegedly conspired in a “scheme” to “publicly depict Plaintiff Brian Warner, a/k/a Marilyn Manson, as a rapist and abuser,” according to the lawsuit Manson filed on March 2.

It further indicates that this was done to persuade additional women to come forward with false accusations against the musician.

In his lawsuit, Manson, whose actual name is Brian Warner, also says that Wood’s accusations against him are “a deliberate untruth that has destroyed Warner’s flourishing music, TV, and film career.”

The lawsuit also claims that Wood and Gore “impersonated an actual FBI agent by forging and distributing a fictitious letter from the agent, to create the false impression that Warner’s alleged “victims” and their families were in danger and that a federal criminal investigation into Warner was ongoing.”

The lawsuit seeks a jury trial and names Wood and Gore as defendants in four counts.

Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, Defamation in the First Degree, Violation of the Comprehensive Computer Data and Access Fraud Act, and Internet Impersonation are complaints.
