Six dead 20 missing after rock collapses on boats at a waterfall in Brazil.

BRASILIA: At least 6-7 people were killed. Nine suffered serious injuries as a wall of rocks fell over motorboats beneath the southeastern part of a waterfall in Brazil. The weekend of the Brazilian fire department stated.

A mountain of rocks abruptly dislodged from the canyon walls. It fell on several pleasure boats, creating massive waves over the lake in Capitolio in Minas Gerais state.

Authorities have said that three persons were still missing, even though others who believed they were lost were found via phone. Divers were searching the lake.

However, the injured in the crash had fractured bones, and one of them was in a hospital for facial and head injuries. Another 23 patients were treated for minor injuries, he added.

The region has been undergoing severe rainfall for two weeks, which may have caused the rock to loosen.
