Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is now available for Android and iOS devices: Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was officially released on the 19th of January. While many were expecting the online trading card game to become popular, remarkably, no one was aware that it would be as popular as it has.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is one of the most played games on Steam, with over 100,000 players concurrently each day. Yet Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel hasn’t yet reached its maximum public.
As of today, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was not accessible for mobile devices. This has changed.
Konami confirmed on Wednesday, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel’s mobile-friendly support was now available, and it was now accessible for both Android and iOS devices.
There was no fanfare nor celebration over the announcement. Konami announced Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel out on both mobile platforms and later made it clear that they were available via social media.
The portable players in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel will join an active player community once players download and begin playing. It’s sure to be a hit with mobile gamers who do not have access to the video computer or game console.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is now available for PlayStation, Xbox consoles, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel also features cross-play and cross-progression.
So players who have started on other platforms can switch to iOS and Android if they prefer that platform.
There was no explanation ever given by Konami to explain why Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was delayed on mobile devices.
It’s possible Konami felt it was required to spread out releases so that its servers were not overloaded at launch time. It’s feasible that Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel just needed more optimization time for mobile devices also.
It doesn’t matter what the reasons are. It took Konami another couple of weeks to make the mobile port work. It’s accessible for free, which means iOS and Android users can download it and begin playing right now.
Since Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel is a free-to-play game. It comes with a premium in-game currency known as Gems which players can use to make various purchases.
