Super Mecha Champions hosted Kizuna AI’s first virtual live concert.

Super Mecha Champions had a special collaboration for their fans. NetEase’s neo-futuristic shooter teamed up with popular virtual artist Kizuna AI for an exciting concert from October 16-18.

Titled “Here for You” SMC × Kizuna AI LIVE, the event saw fans gather from all over to take part in the game’s metaverse concert.

Kizuna AI is the world’s first virtual YouTuber who made her debut in December 2016. With over 2.98 million followers, Kizuna has released numerous songs that have been very well received around the world.

His first solo song, Hello, Morning, was the number one song on Spotify Viral’s weekly Top 50 chart in Japan.

Between October and December 2018, Kizuna released nine songs in nine consecutive weeks, all of which took first place on the iTunes Store electronic music rankings.

After this, he has had several concerts presented at Summer Sonic 2019 and also partnered with UTA, a large American agency.

SMC organized an almost realistic concert for Kizuna. It had a huge, brightly lit stage for her and fans could roam the event space like a real concert, carrying glow sticks, fireworks, and other items with them.

Their songs were edited in a way that allowed the musicians to dance during the choirs.

Kizuna kicked off the concert with Future Base, who welcomed fans to the futuristic world of SMC. This was followed by his hit song Sky-High.

The event also saw her sing a new song made exclusively for the event called Here for You, so she switched to an in-game exclusive costume called mirai no oto (sound of the future).

Song number four was a surprise because Black AI joined as a special guest, causing fans to go wild! Kizuna finished his concert with AIAIAI.

Which was accompanied by an overflow of fireworks and excitement. The show was an absolute success.

This wasn’t the first Super Mecha Champions collaboration and it certainly won’t be the last.

They plan to have numerous collaborations for fans to enjoy and create an extremely cohesive atmosphere that enriches the SMC culture.
